Gather in Delhi, more police officers from 195 countries will join Interpol


 From October 18 to 21, the General Assembly, for the first time, will have a session on prevention of child porn. 



Incidents of cybercrime, cyber attacks, data leaks and online financial crimes have increased across the world. Police and cyber agencies are also engaged in their prevention. In this sequence, a General Assembly of Interpol and Police officers from 195 countries will be organized at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, hosted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).


The General Assembly will go to the world to beat cybercrime, cyber attack, data crime and online financial crime. Different countries will share with each other the methods that have worked in different countries. Information will be shared by all countries about the changing trends of cybercrime and also about effective ways to beat those crimes.


Will be told. This time in the General Assembly, a session will also be held on the topic of prevention of crimes against children. It also gave information about 'Operation Megh Chakra', a joint action by Interpol and CBI to prevent child porn and child sexual abuse.


Also, how all countries can help each other through Interpol against the drug mafia. This will also be discussed. According to sources, Interpol, along with 195 countries, is maintaining a family database.

Is. This will ensure the identification of missing people on the basis of DNA of family members. This topic will also be discussed in the General Assembly. Along with this, the new executive is also elected in the General Assembly in the presence of police and Interpol officials from 195 countries.


Separate preparations have been made by the CBI for the General Assembly of Interpol. The CBI has prepared a list of some of its selected operations in which the help of Interpol has been taken. Due to which it will be easy to exchange every small and big information with other countries.

Cases increased in one year in India, 60% of cyber frauds


According to the NCRB report, a total of 52,974 cases of cybercrime were registered in the country in 2021. Whereas in 2020 this figure was 50,035. Out of the total cyber crime cases registered in 2021, 32,230 i.e. 60.08 percent cases were of cyber fraud. 4555 as per NCRB report.The cases were of sexual abuse. 2883 cases were of online recovery.
